My passion for hair care began as a young child; when I asked my grandmother, “can I do your hair?” It was the very first time I analyzed anyone’s scalp and noticed that hers was dry so I said to her, “I’m going to grease your scalp ok Ma” and she said, “ok baby, go get my grease off the shelf in the bathroom.” I was so exited to do this because it felt good and I knew it would make her hair and scalp shiny. My grandmother enjoyed her spa time with me, complimented my work and even requested my services regularly. She also told a few family members and some of her friends about my growing hands and they should allow me to take care of their hair. It felt good knowing that my grandmother had great confidence in me, and I was inspired to learn more about hair care as I grew in my knowledge and skills as a Certified Trichologist!
